We are nearing Hamburg. Arrival is planned for this afternoon, where we will anchor near the E2 buoy, Echo 2, at the Elbe Approach anchorage. At 21:00 the pilot will come aboard, and then it will take about ten hours to reach our berth in Hamburg harbour.

The day itself is lovely, with calm seas and steady winds. A ship just overtook us, since we are holding back speed to time our arrival for 15:30 as scheduled.
