Staying in Europe?

As I prepare for a journey starting in the next few weeks, I’ve been grappling with a sense of uncertainty and disappointment stemming from recent discussions with my HR department and crewing manager. Despite the excitement surrounding the gift of this journey, it seems my colleagues struggle to grasp its importance, often steering the conversation toward keeping things under wraps. I recount how I’ve tried to advocate for the visibility of my voyage despite these hurdles and a desire for a broader experience beyond Europe—envisioning adventures through Asia and Australia rather than being confined to Europe.
