Reflections: crossing over to Canada

A quiet grey day at sea with calmer winds brought time for work, writing, and tidying up. Marna from Singapore asked me to prepare articles for the Christmas issue of Waterline, and Nigel suggested I describe the different roles on board, since a crew of only twenty runs this huge ship. Between icebergs, organizing notes, and planning new stories, I felt both busy and steady, and I’m thinking of Sara’s vaccination tomorrow and hoping it goes smoothly.
