Reflections: iceberg

Today brought the thrill of our first iceberg sighting, small but no less wondrous, with everyone rushing on deck to see. The storm has given way to calm, and I walked the deck again, pondering the captain’s idea that gravity feels different at sea. Between podcasts with Louie, another lively karaoke night where Erin battled the unfair machine and our shy Indian shipmate triumphed once more with “Delilah,” and restarting the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo audiobooks, the day feels full and balanced, a quiet pause before reaching Milne Inlet.
