Reflections: one more time

I sat on the bridge wing in the warm harbour air, watching port vessels and the beaches while inspectors carried out a thorough but positive port state inspection. After a fire drill, I prepared to go ashore with the captain and others, with travel plans still depending on the ship’s next destination. I expect to return Monday night, spent quiet time on deck, and gathered thoughts for a couple of blog posts.
