Reflections: observation as a form of respect

Years ago in German hospitals, I learned that simply watching can be its own form of respect. Now, on the Roland Oldendorff, I see the same truth in the crew’s endless repairs. Observation is not passive. It honours the dignity of work that often goes unseen.
